  • The Career College of the Pacific assists students with computer discount programs and, in certain cases, offers students the use of college-owned computers during their enrollment. These computers remain the property of the Career College of the Pacific until the student’s graduation. Students who withdraw, drop out, or fail to complete the program are obligated to return the computer system within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in the system’s cost being deducted from any refund due.
  • The maximum number of billing and coding certifications is two, and CompTIA is four. The college covers the cost of a single certification exam, as outlined in the student catalog. The monthly payment estimates provided are examples and do not represent actual monthly costs. The estimates are based on average calculations for students with poor to medium credit scores and are derived from total tuition costs. The actual cost may vary once the third-party finance company has conducted a credit check and taken other factors into account. Pricing is subject to change without notice, and all monthly pricing is based on examples and not actual students. The Career College of the Pacific makes no guarantees regarding any monthly payment, is not obligated to provide one, and the student agrees to assume all risks associated with third-party financing.
  • Computer Loan Program for Eligible Students at Career College of the Pacific

    1. Objective: The aim of this policy is to support eligible students at Career College of the Pacific by providing a computer system on loan. This initiative is designed to assist students with their academic studies. The computer system remains the property of Career College of the Pacific until the student graduates and meets all academic and financial obligations.

    2. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this program, students must meet certain income criteria. Specifically, the household income of the student should not exceed 130% of the Federal Poverty Guideline amounts for Hawaii. The specific income limits based on household size are as follows:

    • For a 1-member household: $20,319
    • For a 2-member household: $27,378
    • For a 3-member household: $34,437
    • For a 4-member household: $41,496

    3. Application Process: Students interested in this program should request a computer system from their admissions counselor. To support their request, students must provide documentation that verifies their income and household size. This should include a copy of their most recent tax return.

    4. Terms and Conditions of Use:

    • The computer system, provided on loan, remains the property of Career College of the Pacific and should be primarily used for educational purposes related to the student’s studies at Career College of the Pacific.
    • Students are required to maintain the computer system in good working order.
    • In case of damage or loss, students will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
    • Improper use of the computer system may lead to the termination of the loan agreement.

    5. Completion of Loan:
    Upon graduation and completion of all academic and financial obligations to Career College of the Pacific, the ownership of the computer system will be transferred to the student.

    6. Non-compliance: Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of this policy may lead to the termination of the loan agreement, and the student will be required to return the computer system immediately to Career College of the Pacific. If a student fails to return the computer system at their own expense, collection action may be initiated against the student. This includes all court and legal fees associated with the collection process.

Financial Aid Guarantee Program Disclaimer & Information

Disclaimer: Career College of the Pacific is committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to pursue their educational goals through our Financial Aid Guarantee program. Qualification for financial aid is subject to approval through Climb Credit. All students will qualify for financial assistance; however, the specific terms of the aid, including down payment amounts and payment schedules, are determined by Climb Credit based on individual creditworthiness. Students may be offered different financial aid packages, which could include either no initial down payment with deferred payments post-graduation or a plan requiring 10% down with monthly payments spread over 24 months commencing 30 days after program start date. Career College of the Pacific does not have any influence over Climb Credit’s decision-making process regarding the assignment of financial aid terms. Please refer to Climb Credit’s policies and terms for full details.

Financial Aid Program Guarantee

At Career College of the Pacific, we are committed to making education accessible. We’re proud to partner with Climb Credit to offer two distinct financial aid programs to our students:

Deferred Payment Plan: Eligible students may qualify for a program that requires no down payment with payments deferred until after graduation. Eligibility for this program is based on the applicant’s creditworthiness as determined by Climb Credit.

Immediate Repayment Plan: Students who do not qualify for the deferred payment plan may be eligible for an immediate repayment plan that includes a 10% down payment with monthly installments beginning 30 days after the start of classes.

All students are guaranteed to qualify for one of these two financial aid programs, but the specific terms, including down payment and payment schedule, are based on the comprehensive credit assessment carried out by Climb Credit. The 10% down payment is the minimum required to commence any of our programs, and this down payment amount is part of the total program cost.

Please note that Climb Credit is an independent entity, and while Career College of the Pacific facilitates the financing process, the final determination of financing terms and eligibility lies solely with Climb Credit. We encourage all prospective students to review the terms and conditions provided by Climb Credit thoroughly to understand the obligations and commitments associated with the financing offered.

Terms and Conditions:

    • The Financial Aid Guarantee applies only to tuition fees; other fees and expenses are not covered.
    • This offer applies only if financial aid is denied due to circumstances beyond the student’s control. Students who are ineligible for financial aid due to past academic performance, disciplinary actions, or similar factors are not covered by this guarantee.
    • The guarantee is valid for one academic program at a time and is subject to review and renewal for each subsequent program.
    • Students must not have previously declined financial aid for which they were eligible.
    • The waiver of tuition under the Financial Aid Guarantee is provided in the form of a scholarship or grant administered by Career College of the Pacific.

Additional Details:

    • This guarantee does not apply if financial aid is available but the student elects not to take it.
    • The waiver is not transferable and has no cash value.
    • If the student becomes eligible for financial aid after the tuition waiver has been applied, the waiver will be rescinded, and the financial aid will be applied to the student’s account.
    • Career College of the Pacific reserves the right to modify or discontinue this guarantee at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable laws and regulations.

Flash Sale Terms & Conditions

Eligibility: This flash sale is exclusively available for new enrollments in the Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Coding programs at Career College of the Pacific.

Enrollment Process: Eligible students must complete the entire enrollment process, including submission of all required documentation and payment of tuition. Only students who successfully complete the enrollment process will qualify for the flash sale offer.

Payment Terms: This offer is valid only for students who pay their tuition fees in full at the time of enrollment. Students opting for financing or installment payment plans will not be eligible for the flash sale discounts.

Duration of the Sale: The flash sale is valid on Wednesday, March 13th, and applicable to enrollments made on this date only. The college reserves the right to extend or terminate the sale at its discretion.

Refund Policy: Tuition fees paid under the flash sale are subject to the standard refund policy of Career College of the Pacific. In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds will be processed as per the existing college policies without any exceptions for flash sale participants.

Changes to the Offer: Career College of the Pacific reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the flash sale offer at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.

Disputes: Any disputes related to the flash sale will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined in the Career College of the Pacific’s catalog. Career College of the Pacific reserves the right to make the final decision on all disputes, consistent with state laws where the college is located and the policies detailed in the college catalog.

Terms and Conditions:

Money Back Guarantee

1. Introduction

The Institution and the Student hereby mutually covenant to adhere to this Agreement, delineating the terms and conditions under which the Student may partake in the Guarantee associated with the Programs.

2. Eligibility for the Money Back Guarantee

2.1 First Exam Attempt and Timeframe

• The Institution shall underwrite the cost of the Student’s initial certification exam attempt exclusively.

• The primary exam must be undertaken within ten (10) business days subsequent to the successful completion of their externship requirement.

• A maximum temporal window of 65 calendar days from the first exam is allocated for three exam attempts.

• In the event of an inability to retake the exam within the stipulated timeframe, a detailed explanation must be submitted to, and receive approval from, the instructor. Special circumstances will be subject to review and approval by the Director of Education and the College President.

2.2 Passing Grade

• The Student shall maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, calculated at the end of their respective module, throughout the Program.

2.3 Externship Completion

• Successful completion of the externship requirement necessitates that the Student completes the prescribed number of hours and secures a satisfactory review from the externship site.


2.4 Additional Exam Attempts

• Subsequent exam attempts beyond the initial shall be financially shouldered by the Student.

• Documentary evidence of each exam attempt, provided by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), must be conveyed to their instructor.

• The 65-day window for retakes commences from the date the Student undertakes their first exam.

2.5 Student Engagement and Communication

• The Student shall exhibit proactive engagement in successfully completing their NHA certification exam and maintaining communication with their instructor. The obligation of maintaining regular communication resides with the Student.

• The Student shall adhere to all mandatory revision and support sessions, maintain a 95% attendance record throughout the course, and sustain a 3.0 GPA as defined above.

2.6 Emergencies and Special Circumstances

• Situations such as family emergencies or occurrences outside the scope of this Agreement, which hinder adherence to these guidelines, are subject to review and approval by the Director of Education and the College President.

2.7 Appeals Process

• Any appeals related to the Guarantee shall be adjudicated by the student appeal process as enunciated in the Student Catalog.

3. Financial Obligations

3.1 Exam Fees

• The Institution will finance the first attempt at the certification exam.

• All fees and related costs for subsequent exam attempts are the onus of the Student and shall be transacted directly between the NHA and the Student.

3.2 Refund Mechanism

• Refunds shall be processed within a temporal framework of ninety (90) days from the determination of eligibility.

• Upon initiation of the refund process, the Student shall receive an email confirmation at their registered email address.

3.3 Cancellation Policy

• The cancellation policy is meticulously outlined in the Enrollment Agreement and the Student Catalog, to which the Student has acceded upon enrollment.

3.4 Obligations upon Refund

• Should a refund be issued, the Student is obliged to return all computer equipment and materials provided by the Institution during the tenure of the Program.

3.5 Compliance

• The Student agrees to adhere to all financial obligations and policies as outlined herein, in the Enrollment Agreement, and in the Student Catalog. Non-compliance may result in penalties, additional fees, or cessation of participation in the Program and subsequent participation in the Guarantee.

3.6 Dispute Resolution


• Any financial disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved as per the dispute resolution mechanism propounded in the Enrollment Agreement and Student Catalog.

4. Student Commitments and Compliance

4.1 Engagement

• The Student agrees to immerse fully in the Program, ensuring attendance, participation, and assignment completion as stipulated in the Student Catalog.

4.2 Adherence to Policies

• The Student shall adhere to all administrative and academic policies of the Institution.

4.3 Violation of Policies

• Any infraction of the policies contained within the Student Catalog shall invalidate the Student from participation in the Program.

4.4 GPA Maintenance

• The Student consents to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to retain eligibility for the Money Back Guarantee.

5. Application for the Money Back Guarantee

5.1 Application Submission

• The Student is obliged to submit a formal application to invoke the Money Back Guarantee within a stipulated timeframe of 10 days from the date of the official NHA notification of the third failed exam attempt.

5.2 Documentation Requirements

• The application must be concomitant with all pertinent documentation, as specified and required by the Institution, to validate the claim for the Money Back Guarantee.

5.3 Verification of Information

• The Institution expressly reserves the right to verify all information provided within the application and accompanying documentation.

5.4 Discrepancy and Violation Checks

• An application may be denied if discrepancies are identified in the provided information or if the Student is adjudged to be in violation of any terms set forth in this contract or the Student Catalog.

6. Refund Process

6.1 Approval and Processing Timeframe

• Upon approval of the application, the Institution shall process the refund within ninety (90) days.

6.2 Method of Refund

• The refund shall be issued via the original payment method used by the Student, and details of the mechanism will be communicated upon approval of the application.

6.3 Alternative Support Mechanisms


• The Institution reserves the right to offer alternative support mechanisms to the Student prior to initiating the refund process.

7. Ethical and Legal Compliance

7.1 Ethical Engagement

• The Student commits to engaging ethically in all activities correlated to the Program and the Money Back Guarantee, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

7.2 Compliance with Guarantee Terms

• The Student explicitly acknowledges that any attempt to manipulate or violate the predetermined terms of the Money Back Guarantee may precipitate disqualification from the Guarantee and potential legal repercussions.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Compliance with Data Protection Laws

• The Institution pledges to manage all personal data of the Student in stringent compliance with applicable data protection laws.

8.2 Data Sharing

• The Institution shall refrain from sharing the Student’s data without their explicit consent, save for instances where it is mandated by law.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 Amendment Rights

• The Institution reserves the unequivocal right to alter or amend this contract as necessary, with all such changes being communicated to the Student in a timely and transparent manner.

9.2 Governing Laws

• This contract is comprehensively governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.
