Our Commitment To Making College Affordable

If you fall into these categories, there are tuition assistance programs that can help you reduce the cost even more. Students who participate in Financial Aid programs can use this money to pay down the total amount you owe towards tuition.

PACT - Parents and Children Together$1,000.00Qualified clients who need assistance with employability or a career plan can access services that include a personal vocational assessment, basic economic literacy, budget planning, resume development, job placement and career development coaching. 2.5 Months to move through the qualification process.
AJCH - American Job Center Hawaii$4,000.00If you are receiving or are eligible for unemployment insurance benefits, or you meet the income eligibility guidelines based on you or your family's income for the past year.
Hana Lima - Scholarship Program$1,500.00Must be of Native Hawai'ian Ancestry
CCOP Grant Program$500.00Available to enrolled students only.
CCOP Scholarship Program$500.00Available to enrolled students only.

For example, tuition is $6999+tax. ($5999 during Free First Class Promotion) If you receive $4000 from the American Job Center, and $1000 from HCAP, that leaves only $1499 left over. If you receive both a grant and scholarship from CCOP, your tuition balance is about $499.

If you are unemployed, you might qualify for most of these programs. In most cases, these programs will cover most or all of your college tuition without having a FAFSA or taking on Federal student loans.
